On Thursday, Muhammad Ali’s longtime spokesperson Bob Gunnell issued a statement regarding the former heavyweight boxer’s health and his hospitalization.

According to Gunnell, Ali, 74, was admitted to a hospital Thursday because of respiratory issues and was in fair condition. But on Friday, reports emerged that Ali’s health is in more dire condition. Both the Daily Mail and Radar Online reported that Ali is on life support in an Arizona hospital, with family members rushing to his bedside. But Gunnell released another statement Friday, saying that Ali's condition had not changed.

With the news of Ali's health possibly deteriorating, words of hope and prayers have flooded various social media platforms in support of Ali.
