Compton, Calif., Mayor Aja Brown is considering throwing her hat into the congressional ring after black apologist and overall deplorable Stacey Dash announced that she would be running for office.

According to TMZ, the wildly popular Brown wasn’t considering a run for Congress until word began surfacing that the Clueless star was going to run for a seat in the House of Representatives because her acting career is right up there with that of failed actor Mario Lopez. While Brown has not confirmed whether she’s going to make a run in the 44th District, TMZ notes that the announcement could come as early as Thursday.

TMZ notes that:

Brown has been an ambassador for Compton, often praising people like Kendrick Lamar who grew up in her city and went on to greatness.

A source who has interacted with Brown tells TMZ the Compton Mayor has privately groused that Dash is “running for notoriety” and has no relationship with the district.

Brown — a Democrat — is a super-popular mayor whose voice has been strong on various issues, including protecting food programs and housing initiatives.

We’re told Brown herself feels it’s by no means a shoo-in that she’ll win, because of almost unparalleled voter apathy in the district. We’re told, although she thinks the district is heavily democratic, the Republicans just get out and vote more often.

Now, a prayer.

Please, big black baby Jesus, make this a thing. Give Brown all the encouragement and side-eye strength she will need to take on the soulless Dash. It’s bad enough that we have to listen to that other deplorable Rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.), formerly of The Real World, and his equally vapid The Real World wife.

We just don’t need Stacey Dash. Seriously, big baby Jesus, if anyone can stop this it’s you, and Aja Brown is a perfect conduit for making this happen. Brown actually cares about the people of California, while Dash only cares about the Dash family. I think a good place for Dash’s voice could be on public access or YouTube, but it doesn’t need to be in Congress.

Also, and this can’t be overstated, Brown helped one of your favorite angels, Ava DuVernay, bring her new movie, A Wrinkle in Time, to the children of Compton, which proves that she’s already doing your work. What has Stacey Dash done? Don’t make that face at me, Lord, when you know I’m right.
