In case you didn’t get the memo, Comic-Con isn’t just for cosplay—or even just for comics. Celebs and fans of all types of pop-cultural phenomenons descended on the convention’s West Coast event in San Diego, Ca. from July 19-22 to attend panels, rubs elbows with their faves, and, or course, dress up to celebrate all things comic- and fantasy-related.
But while the convention may still be best known for its displays of cosplay, it’s also become a hot ticket for film and television stars. Taking a break from the panels and meet-and-greets, several brought some major red carpet style to the black carpet of the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Bash on Saturday night. Many of our faves were in attendance, including Danai Gurira, Regina King and RZA, with fashion running the gamut from casually fine to fabulously chic.

But of course, we couldn’t leave Comic-Con behind without catching any of the cosplay. While the street-style cameras were predictably light on catching black and brown faces in the crowd, we still saw a few heroes in the mix—and some very memorable moments.
