It looks as though the man who accused Chris Brown of beating him up during a Las Vegas basketball game has had a change of heart. According to the New York Daily News, the misdemeanor-battery case against Brown was dropped after the accuser decided against pressing charges.

Allegedly, Brown and the accuser were playing in a basketball game in his luxury suite at the Palms Casino Resort on Monday when Brown punched the accuser after a dispute. According to police, the victim was taken to the hospital, treated for his injuries and released.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police issued a statement saying that the accuser "no longer wants to go forward with criminal charges," adding, "This case will not be pursued any further."
