Last week, NBC announced the cancellation of Undercovers, starring Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Although Undercovers was one of the top 25 television shows watched by African Americans, CBS seems to be the network of choice among the African-American demographic. Target Market News is reporting that during the first week of November, CBS continued its renewed dominance over the top 25 most popular shows in black households. It had 12.8 million viewers for 10 of its programs on the chart. NBC had a strong second place, with 10.2 million watching six of its shows. ABC was third with 9.0 million watchers for six of its chart makers. The top three shows watched by African Americans were NBC Sunday Night Football, Dancing With the Stars and 60 Minutes. Who says black folks only watch BET?
