Cardi B is striking while the iron is hot— and homegirl is lava right now.
2019 is already her year, if things go according to plan. Apparently, the “Money” singer isn’t slowing down anytime soon and actually plans to release a new album this year.
“Of course it’s gonna be an album in 2019,” Cardi said on Instagram Live on Tuesday, per Variety. “Hopefully, I could get my album done around the same time that ‘Invasion of Privacy’ came out, but I don’t know how possible that’s gonna be because I feel like I’m going to be extremely, extremely busy.”
It looks like the music industry will be blooming right along with the flowers because the new album may be dropping in the springtime, exactly one year after her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, was released.
Wait, it’s really been that long? 2018 really was 1,578 days, y’all.
Cardi’s 2019 is otherwise blossoming since she has already booked a live performance in Atlanta during Super Bowl week in February. This bears repeating: No, it’s not the halftime show, despite having a feature on Maroon 5's song, “Girls Like You,” because we’ve already established every black artist ever except for Kardashian Kultist Travis Scott has reportedly declined offers.
We’ve all already predicted her new album will be called For The Kulture or something similar, right? Right.
