“They do anything for clout,” raps Cardi B and her hubby boo Offset in their newest video, but what Cardi won’t do is accept a plea deal.

According to CBS New York, Cardi B appeared in court Friday and decided to reject a plea deal in connection to her misdemeanor assault and reckless endangerment charge.

As CBS noted, she had signed two protection orders, which prevented her from contacting the people she allegedly injured.

Cardi and her entourage allegedly threw bottles and chairs at a strip club in late August.

Per NBC New York:

Wearing a creme sleeveless pantsuit, Cardi B was once again armed with an entourage of NYPD officers and bodyguards — one of whom held an umbrella over her head to shield her from sprinkles — as she headed into court Friday. She said nothing to reporters yelling “Hey, Cardi!” and “Good morning!” as she walked inside. The rapper also said nothing after her appearance.

Cardi’s plea deal rejection will essentially prolong the case. She is due back in court at the end of May.
