Cardi B dropped her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, on Friday, and it is already certified gold. She was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live the next night and revealed her baby bump during her final performance—much to the delight of her fans everywhere. On Monday night, she was the first ever co-host on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

She has had quite the week.

The 25-year-old Bronx, N.Y., native sat down with Hot 97’s Ebro on Monday to talk about her career, her pregnancy, her come up in the game and her relationship with her fiance, Offset.

When rumors began circulating that Cardi was pregnant, many questioned whether this was the right time for her to be having a child, considering the way her career is taking off.

“Why can’t I have both?” she asked again. “Why do I have to be in my mid-30s to have a baby? What am I doing wrong?”

“I’m a grown woman. I’m not 16, 17, 20 years old,” she continued. “I’m 25 years old, and Imma say this in the most humblest way: I am a millionaire. I’m established. You know what I’m saying? It’s like … the industry is never promised, but I know that if I make the right money moves, I’m going to always have money.

“You know, I’m getting married,” she added. “Everybody wanna joke around, ‘Oh, you’re the fourth baby mama,’ this, this and that, but I’m getting married. And even though—so, let’s say, God forbid, we don’t; my man is a great father to his kids, so I will never lose. I’m not having a baby with a deadbeat.”

Well, then.

Belcalis said don’t worry about her. Worry about yourself.

And if we are being honest, why can’t she have both? Why are people acting like that is improbable and impossible?
