We’re calling on the men of the New York City metropolitan area to join The Root for an empowering evening of brotherhood, dialogue and learning. The Root's annual manCODE series will kick off 2015 in New York City on March 25 with a dynamic men-only conversation.
For those who are unfamiliar with manCODE, sponsored by Prudential, it’s an opportunity to increase focus on and understanding of what fatherhood, faith, love and legacy mean and how they’ve evolved for African-American men. It’s a multigenerational conversation that looks at how far men have come and how far they have to go.
With only men in the room, it’s a chance for black men to talk openly with one another about how to strive to embrace the diversity within our collective and to be better husbands, partners, friends, leaders and builders of our community. The evening promises to be lively, thought-provoking and memorable.
Use the invitation below to reserve your spot. Ladies, if there’s a friend, lover, spouse, brother or neighbor in your life, give him the gift of manCODE.
Future manCODE events in 2015 will be held in Atlanta, Dallas and Washington, D.C., so stay tuned for dates and announcements.
