There’s nothing like being trolled live on air, and C-SPAN recently had the unfortunate experience of being on the receiving end of a trolling caller.
During an episode of C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, live calls were being taken from people who wanted to share their opinions about the various roles of Congress in U.S. negotiations. Everything was going smoothly until a caller who identified himself as Jack Strickland got through.
And the call went something like this:
“I’m calling from Bel Air, California, but I’m originally from Philadelphia, specifically West Philadelphia,” Strickland said.
He then went on to explain how he was talking about the exact topic one day on the basketball court with a couple of his friends, until “a couple of guys who were up to no good essentially started causing trouble in my neighborhood.
“I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said you’re moving with your auntie and your uncle in Bel Air,” Strickland continued.
It was at that point C-SPAN caught on to what was going on and ended the call.
Apparently, Strickland likes to prank people in his spare time, because his YouTube account is filled with random prank calls.
