BuzzFeed felt the ire of the Internet last week with its video "27 Questions Black People Have for Black People." The site, widely known for its quizzes, enlisted the help of some of its black employees to propose questions to other black people.
"Do we really think black is beautiful?" asked one.
With 27 questions that seemed to be pulled from every stereotype, the video garnered not only side eyes from people on social media but also backlash and even some pretty good response videos.
Now, a week later, BuzzFeed has issued an apology for its faux pas.
"We've heard your concerns about last week's video. We made a mistake, and want to get better at earning the trust of our black audience," BuzzFeed tweeted.
But for some that wasn't good enough.

Of course, BuzzFeed isn't going to take the video down. But maybe next time, its editors will think twice before asking any more questions.
