Following his last statement regarding the capture of the second Boston-bombing suspect on Friday, President Obama has asked for a moment of silence on Monday at 2:50 p.m. EDT, the time when the first bomb exploded at the Boston Marathon, to remember victims Krystle Campbell, Lingzi Lu and Martin Richard, according to USA Today.
Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick has also asked residents in that state to observe a moment of silence at 2:50 p.m.
Three people, including an 8-year-old boy, died from the twin bombings near the marathon finish line, while more than 170 others were injured.
In addition, a university police officer was killed days later as the bombing suspects attempted a getaway.
