Several Boko Haram terrorists were caught in Nigeria after attempting to evade security officials by dressing in feminine clothing while maintaining their thick beards, the Daily Mail reports.

According to the report, after Nigerian forces helped free the town of Baga from control of the terrorists on Monday, they set up a barrier to capture any remaining militants. To the surprise of security officials, several fighters tried to escape by dressing up in colorful feminine attire—doing nothing, however, to cover up their thick beards.
“The searches are also yielding more discoveries of arms especially bombs hidden in various locations, especially Baga town,” Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade also revealed in a statement. “Apart from those captured in the course of fighting, many arrests of terrorists hiding in the town are being made and troops are still busy interrogating the suspects.”
