It's safe to say that the Houston-Brown family, if nothing else, was a spiritual one.
Bobby Brown demonstrated that during an interview with The Real that airs in its entirety on Monday. He said that he's coping with the loss of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown by taking solace in the idea that her mother, Whitney Houston, played a part in it.
"We prayed in hope for six months, you know, for something better to happen, but when God calls you, he calls you," Brown said.
"I'm pretty sure her mother had a part with, like—'C'mon, let's get her up here!' '' Brown said while smiling sweetly. Brown's current wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, sat next to him on the couch as he spoke.
Brown described how he and his family did everything they could for six months to bring Bobbi Kristina back to good health. She passed on July 26.
