Nick Gordon, the man found legally responsible in the death of former girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown. was arrested for attacking his current girlfriend in Florida.

TMZ first reported that Gordon was taken into custody Saturday afternoon in Sanford, a town that will forever be associated with the 2012 killing of Trayvon Martin. Gordon was charged with domestic violence battery and kidnapping.

Gordon allegedly beat up the unnamed woman Friday night after he allegedly flew off the handle because she was trying to hook up with one of his friends at a sports bar.

A long argument ensued after they got to the home they share with his mother, and when the woman wanted to go, Gordon started “punching and hitting her and refused to let her leave,” according to the police report.

The woman finally woke up Gordon’s mother, who drove her to her sister’s home. Her sister then took her to the hospital.

Gordon denies hitting the woman, but there are photos of some kind of altercation; he claims she attacked him.

Last November, Gordon was found liable in the wrongful death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown. He was ordered to pay Bobby Kristina’s estate $36 million.

He’s still under criminal investigation for her death.
