It’s been more than a year since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub, and an Atlanta judge has now given the go-ahead to unseal her autopsy results.
Brown was found in her home last January and was on life support for several months until she died while in hospice in July 2015.
On Friday an Atlanta judge granted the request to have Brown’s autopsy results unsealed. According to Fox 5 Atlanta, it seems as though the results include drug intoxication, but the death was classified as “undertermined” with regard to whether it was “intentional” or “accidental.”
Brown’s death was eerily similar to her mother’s death in 2012. Whitney Houston was also found in a bathtub, just hours before she was expected to appear at a Grammy event.
Last year, Brown’s estate filed a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit against her boyfriend, Nick Gordon. The lawsuit alleged that Gordon not only beat her but also supplied drugs and alcohol during an all-night bingeing session. Brown’s attorney alleges that was the cause of her passing out in the tub.
Gordon and his attorneys have denied the allegations and have labeled the lawsuit slanderous.
