When the fourth season of Boardwalk Empire premieres on HBO this Sunday, Sept. 8, at 9 p.m. EDT, fans of the show will have another opportunity to glimpse a fictionalized account of power, politics and personal struggles in Prohibition-era Atlantic City, N.J. This season Jeffrey Wright joins the cast as Harlem gangster Dr. Valentin Narcisse, who instantly becomes a rival to show mainstay Chalky White (Michael K. Williams). HBO celebrated the return of the series with a pre-Fashion Week party on Wednesday in New York City. The event featured Prohibition-era fashion inspired by the show.

June Ambrose
Stylist, fashion adviser, blogger and designer Ambrose helped coordinate the fashion party for Boardwalk Empire. "Every sidewalk is a catwalk, and you have to work it daily," she says.
Michael K. Williams
Actor Williams reprises his role as Albert "Chalky" White in the fourth season of Boardwalk Empire. This season White establishes a supper club in a previously segregated space on Atlantic City's boardwalk and interacts with a powerful and charismatic Harlem gangster, Dr. Valentin Narcisse, played by Jeffrey Wright. "This season is going to be very Roaring '20s, Cotton Club," Williams says. "It shines a light on black swagger and the influence of our culture, our music, on American pop culture."
Margot Bingham
Actress Bingham, a new addition to the Boardwalk Empire cast, will portray Daughter Maitland, the latest talent at Chalky White's Onyx Club. Maitland is a saucy soul and blues singer and White's new love interest, Bingham says. Maitland is also the daughter of Dr. Valentin Narcisse, White's new rival.
Eric LaRay Harvey
Boardwalk Empire star Harvey portrays Chalky White associate and enforcer Dunn Purnsley. "One of the best things about the period that the show captures is that this was a time of showgirls and glitz and glamour in Atlantic City; this was the era of the blues," Harvey says. "There were no sagging jeans."
