Back in 2024, “SkeeYee” rapper Sexyy Red underwent breast augmentation for the first time. Now, she has revealed that she’s had another surgery on the same area...much to the shock of Black Twitter.

Last Thursday (Jan. 9), the emcee shared the news across social media. On X/Twitter, she posted a photo of herself in a hospital gown with the caption: “I’m goin back big” and mentioned that she didn’t want “small back no more.”

Just a few hours later, she shared that she had another successful surgery on Instagram story and thanked Florida-based plastic surgeon Dr. Marcelo Ghersi. “My chest look so much better thank you @drghersi you literally dat,” Sexyy stated.

TMZ reported that Sexyy had the procedure because she was dealing with back problems and clothing issues.

According to sources for the outlet, “[Sexyy’s] not going huge with her new chest … she’s undergoing surgery because her breasts are causing way too many problems—including back pain and ruining the fit of her clothes.”

On Friday (Jan. 10), Sexyy posted a video posted on X and Instagram giving fans a glimpse at her patched up chest and recovery bra. “Yal some hater 30K on boobs top notch [sic],” she wrote on the clip.

However, that didn’t stop Black folks from chiming in on social media. In an Instagram Live with rapper GloRilla, Sexyy Red stated that she looked like 50 Cent when she had surgery to make her breasts smaller.

This prompted 50 Cent to share the clip on personal Instagram asking: “How did I get in this sh*t LOL.” His fans flooded the comment section laughing right along with the “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” artist.

One X/Twitter user, @montewhiteiam, focused on the positive message Sexyy was trying to send her followers. “Sharing her transformation online, [Sexyy] emphasized self-love and dismissed negative comments, encouraging fans to embrace their individuality,” they wrote.

“The rapper continues to use her platform to spark discussions about body positivity and personal choice.”

Another user, @Biancaworlddd, believes that Sexyy should be resting and recovering after the procedure. She labeled her behavior after surgery “reckless.”

Despite the opinion of the internet, Sexyy is going to do what Sexyy wants to do.
