On her WEtv reality show, “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” the actress has opened up about her post-divorce life following her split from Cory Hardrict. Part of that includes her decision to reenter the dating scene. In the latest episode, she goes on a blind date and reflects on what she’s looking for in her next relationship.
“The date went really good,” Mowry said. “I mean, listen, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, didn’t they go on a blind date? Who knows? I might find my Prince Harry!”
While she’s “open” to a second date, she won’t be heartbroken if it doesn’t happen. “I’m proud of myself for at least being open enough to go on a blind date,” she said.
As you would expect, social media had a wide range of reactions to Tia’s declaration that she needs to look for her Prince Harry.
One person agreed with her, noting how he always has Meghan’s back, posting, “Prince Harry is that Prince Charming they told us about when we were kids. He makes his wife feel loved and safe. He also is supportive and allows Meghan to shine.”
Someone else offered words of encouragement, writing on X, “t could happen, Tia! Prince Harry was Meghan Markle’s 2nd try at love & marriage & she hit the jackpot in husbands!”
Meanwhile, another user is over Tia’s recent wave of attention, posting, “The need for affirmation is strong with this one.”
Some folks aren’t as impressed with the Duke, with one person writing on X, “She should raise her standards!”
One user questioned her methods, posting, “But a blind date though sis, you are [too] big of a star for that… come on Tia.”
Another person had thoughts on her being so open on her reality show, writing on X, “Way too much conversation lady, just make your moves…”
