One of the most unusual bands of its time, Fishbone and its eclectic alternative rock sound are the stars of the upcoming biopic Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone. Centered around the band members' experiences amid the racial strife of the Reagan era and the evolving dynamics of 1980s rock music, Everyday Sunshine delves into the fascinating circumstances of one of rock music's most influential black bands. Laurence Fishburne narrates Fishbone's story of tribulation, triumph and determination as the band reimagines and revitalizes itself for a new millennium.

Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone comes out Friday, Oct. 7.
