After being suspended for pinning a student up against the wall at his Missouri high school, a Black student is finally giving his side of the story on what happened leading up to the physical altercation, and why he feels that he is being treated unfairly.
Last week, 17-year-old Colby Parker, a senior at Park High School in Kansas City, recalled a number of his female friends telling him about a white student with whom they had issues, claiming that this student has sexually harassed them for multiple years, according to FOX 4.
Allegedly, this white student also told one of Parker’s friends that he was a “dirty n****r.” As a result, Parker confronted this student, asking him, “Why are you saying these things? I haven’t done anything to you.”
In response, Parker claims the student said, “Don’t talk to me dirty n****r.”
Surprised by the response, Parker became enraged and pinned this student up against the wall before being pulled off by one of his football teammates. He was ultimately suspended after a teacher said they witnessed the incident. He won’t be able to return to school until Sept. 9, according to FOX 4.
The student in question is apparently facing no consequences.
Although the Park Hill School District is currently investigating the incident, Parker is taking matters into his own hands, launching multiple petitions: one that calls for the end of his suspension, one that calls out his principals for not doing anything to the racist student in question and another that calls for the immediate suspension of said student.
On his public Instagram account, Parker has done his best to continue calling out the behavior of this student and been open about sharing everything he plans on doing to bring attention to the racism and sexual harassment that he claims has been going on at Park Hill High School for years.
In one of his posts he wrote, “Park Hill High School loves to defend male students that sexual harasses girls. I am tried of holding my silence. I am speaking out on all the victims in school.”
