“It’s over for him,” Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former bodyguard Gene Deal says about the hip-hop mogul’s career.

Deal compared the recently surfaced 2016 hotel surveillance video of Diddy beating the hell out of his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura to the infamous 2014 video of former running back Ray Rice slugging his fiancee Janay Palmer in an Atlantic City elevator.

The NFL banished Rice, and a similar fate awaits Diddy, according to Deal, who makes an even darker prediction about his former boss.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he does the ultimate sin - suicide,” Deal says.

If Diddy was on Amateur Night at the Apollo, the Sandman would be doing his dance right now and sweeping the disgraced hip-hop mogul off stage.

Diddy is no stranger to scandals. Yet, for decades, Black folks looked the other way whenever criminal accusations surfaced against him. Even the recent wave of sexual assault lawsuits didn’t appear career-ending (if he survived his legal troubles) for the bad boy of hip-hop.

But it appears that our community has finally canceled Diddy.

Under pressure, Diddy, wearing his sad face, apologized on Sunday for what he had long denied doing. “My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video,” he said in an Instagram video.

Sorry Diddy, there’s no coming back from this.

Cedric the Entertainer described seeing Diddy brutalize Cassie as “beyond disturbing … and at moments downright diabolical!”

“SISTAS, KEEP YA HEAD UP,” Judge Greg Mathis posted on Instagram, commenting on how difficult it was to watch another instance of domestic violence in our community.

A sarcastic Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson took a shot at the rap mogul, saying that Diddy’s lawyers are going to tell us that there’s nothing criminal to see in the video. “God help us all,” he posted on X.

In her Instagram post, Claudia Jordan scolded those who “were really STILL defending” Diddy.

But celebs are not the only people who’ve had enough. “Pack Diddy up ASAP smh!” social media user @TheBlackHokage wrote.

“He’s DONE,” says @DP_Lavezzi22.

Well, Diddy, we’ve seen this before with other Black celebs who avoided getting canceled for years before Black folks finally said enough was enough.

R. Kelly denied accusations against him for years, as many in our community pretended like there was nothing wrong. “America’s Dad,” Bill Cosby, also dodged sexual assault allegations for decades and still had our support until his day of reckoning. Don’t forget O.J. Simpson. We refused to admit to white people that he was guilty of murder until after he died.

Diddy is unlikely to face a judge and jury for over the assault video, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County District Attorney Office. Still, it appears to be lights out for his career.
