Amid a contentious custody battle with her ex, rapper Tyga, Angela White f.k.a. Blac Chyna, discussed some startling details about the end of their relationship. While appearing on The Viall Files podcast, the TV personality explained what caused their breakup in 2014. She revealed that she discovered the rumors about Tyga and Kylie Jenner’s blossoming romance “the same way everybody else did: the Internet.” She also claimed it was these rumors that led to her being kicked out of Tyga’s home.
“It was actually when Tyga’s friends threw me out of his house,” White said. “They packed my stuff up and put it in my, well, his truck at the time.”
The couple shares a 10-year-old son, and are currently involved in a tense custody battle. In July, she filed for joint custody, while he recently countered with a request for full custody. She didn’t implicitly say that their legal issues are what led her to publicly reveal details of their relationship, but she did explain that she feels like it’s time to tell her side of the story.
“I never used to talk about these things, but I’m like, you know what? I think I’m kinda done with that and people need to hear my side,” she said. “It’s been years. I didn’t come out and be a bitter baby mama, you know what I mean? I feel like time has passed.”
White, who appeared on the most recent season of FOX’s reality competition series Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, also discussed how she felt betrayed by Kylie’s interest in Tyga, because she and Jenner’s sister, Kim Kardashian, were “good friends” Angela eventually began a relationship with Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian, who she shares a young daughter with.
“It’s like, nobody’s seen the betrayal that was going on behind my back of me talking to somebody—Kim—and then her little sister, who she has no control over, started talking to my fiancé and then I get attacked,” she said. “And it’s like, how does that work? But it was kind of crazy.”
In recent years, White has changed her life by deciding to leave OnlyFans, reversing her plastic surgery and getting sober. She explained how she approached her sobriety journey and was motivated by her kids to live healthier.
“It’s a very hard thing. I had to teach myself discipline,” she said. “Even with [my] sobriety, working out, and becoming closer to God with my spirituality, that stuff takes discipline. It’s not just a one-day thing. These are things that you have to continue to do on a daily basis. All these things are gonna come at you through your mind, body and your soul and spirit.”
“Sometimes it can become hard. And with the sobriety, I just needed a clear mind,” she continued. “I just feel like my kids are getting older and I just need to be 100 percent clear-minded all the time.”
