Bill Cosby has been seemingly silent and unresponsive when it comes to the recent allegations of sexual assault from some 20 women. Although many people believe the women’s stories, there are those standing by the former spokesman for Jell-O Pudding Pops.
Cosby publicly acknowledged two celebrity friends on Twitter Tuesday night and Wednesday, among them Jill Scott, who received backlash online earlier this week when she defended him, saying that she needed “substantiated proof” of any sexual assault by Cosby.
Earlier today, Cosby tweeted to Scott:

And last night, he sent his thanks to Whoopi Goldberg, who said last month that she was skeptical of the rape claims made by Barbara Bowman. “I have a lot of questions for the lady,” Goldberg said on The View.

He did not thank his most disturbing supporter, Faizon Love.
Cosby’s lawyer Martin Singer has called the allegations against his client “increasingly ridiculous and … completely illogical.”
