Her character’s future may hang in the balance on HBO’s Big Little Lies, but Zoë Kravitz is indisputably winning at life. The actress and musician, who wed longtime love Karl Glusman in late June, is now making the most of her ongoing brand ambassadorship with Saint Laurent, teasing a new collaboration with the label’s makeup brand, YSL Beauté, on social media.
Stirring what appears to be a pot of liquified lipstick in a perfect red within a makeshift lab, Kravitz, wearing the same shade with her YSL tuxedo jacket (we presume) and string bikini, glances coyly at the camera before the spot teases “YSL x Zoë Kravitz.” Captioning the post, Kravitz wrote, “ME + YSL BEAUTÉ! STAY TUNED FOR MORE, SEPTEMBER 1ST” 💋
We’re here for it, especially since Vogue reports that the collaboration will include six new shades of YSL’s Rouge Pur Couture—three reds and three nudes in satin, matte and shimmer satin finishes, in black packaging inspired by YSL’s Niki bag, apparently one of Kravitz’s favorites, as is the bestselling lipstick line.
“Rouge Pur Couture is one of my favorite products,” she told Vogue. “The texture is so beautiful. It doesn’t get too dry; it’s not too shiny. It’s kind of perfect.
“I’ve been working with YSL Beauté for a while now, and I really wanted to get more involved and more creative,” Kravitz added. “This collection is for anyone who wants to be playful; anyone who wants to express themselves.” While we don’t yet know when they’ll land stateside, U.K. fans can express themselves with Zoë’s new shades on September 1st at Harrods.
