Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben "Big Ben" Roethlisberger has been lauded for his off-field behavior since he was accused of sexaul assualt for the second time in March. Roethlisberger was initially suspended by the NFL for six games, but his suspension was cut to four games by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell because of good behavior and adhering to a league-mandated program. Well, his teammates may not have the same level of confidence or forgiveness in him that Goodell and other well-wishers have, because they did not name Big Ben as captain. Roethlisberger had been voted captain the previous two seasons. Hines Ward and Heath Miller were voted as the offensive captains. We're not even going to touch cutting the suspension and how the media have been pooh-poohing Roethlisberger's alleged dastardly deeds, but we are happy that his teammates aren't co-signing onto his foolishness by sending the message that things will just pick up where they left off.
