Black America Web is reporting that Beyoncé's commercial for her perfume Heat is a little too hot for officials in the United Kingdom. Advertising watchdogs in London have banned daytime airing of the spot for her debut fragrance, saying that it must not be shown until after 7.30 p.m. The ad — which hit the Internet in February and features the singer writhing against a bathroom wall in a red dress to the strains of the song "Fever" — was deemed unsuitable for airing at a time when younger children might be watching. The announcement, from the U.K. Advertising Standards Authority, found that the advertisement was "sexually provocative" and upheld complaints against it. The ad looks like a music video. Too bad we don't have the same standards for our children.
