We all have to chill out sometimes, even the ever-so-amazing Beyoncé. Unfortunately, just days after one of the best Video Music Awards performances of all time, the queen was ordered by doctors to go on vocal rest, which has forced her to postpone her Sept. 7 show at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., for the Formation World Tour—sorry, BeyHive!
But on a brighter note, our favorite superstar was still able to turn up for her 35th birthday Monday night for a fabulous Soul Train-themed party.
The star-studded night included some of our favorites, such as sister Solange Knowles, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats, Usher, former Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Chance the Rapper, Diddy and several others. And yes, the adorable Blue Ivy Carter was present, too!
Everyone was dressed up in ’70s-themed attire while jamming to the music of the time.

As we all watched jealously through Snapchat videos and Instagram posts, we couldn't help feeling that our invitations had somehow been lost in the mail. Nonetheless, we hope the queen had a great time!
