Beyoncé was in formation during the Detroit stop of her tour, and she came with donations in hand.
Beyoncé’s entertainment and management company, Parkwood Entertainment, donated $82,234 to United Way of Genesee County Monday. According to the Detroit News, the money was raised by fans of the singer who chose to contribute to the Flint, Mich., fund when making a Formation-tour ticket purchase.
Parkwood also said that 14 Detroit high school students received college gifts to help with their educational expenses. They also received tickets to Tuesday’s concert.
