The Carters have officially announced their Chase Bank-sponsored summer concert tour, dubbed On the Run. Beyoncé posted the official flier this morning to her Facebook page. According to posts from both Beyoncé’s and Jay Z’s social media accounts, the presale starts Tuesday at 10 a.m. local. Can one assume that the tour’s name is reminiscent of Bonnie and Clyde?
The tour is set to kick off on June 25 in Miami, and so far 16 U.S. dates have been announced. Of course the Beyhive is “buzzing” with anticipation.
But some think this is just their way of bowing out gracefully from the Kanye West and Kim Kardashian wedding—oh, the shade!
But how much are we talking? We know ticket prices aren’t cheap nowadays. Will people have to eat ramen noodles for a month just to save up for the nosebleed seats?
In any event, Beyoncé and Jay Z are determined to show they’re "Drunk in Love" all summer long.
