She’s best known as a supermodel, but Naomi Campbell is so much more than a runway legend or infamously short-tempered diva. She’s also a humanitarian, socialite, editor, activist, actress, mentor, trailblazer, muse—and now she’s on YouTube, giving a more intimate view into her glamorous life with a new web series, Being Naomi.

Obviously, we’ve been watching Campbell for decades—most recently, as she’s allowed British Vogue to document a few of her days as their editor-at-large. Apparently, the modeling icon enjoyed this new outlet because she’s now launched her very own YouTube channel, simply titled, Naomi. The channel’s first offerings? A teaser announcing the launch of her new platform, and a premiere promoting the centennial celebration of Nelson Mandela’s birthday, which will be commemorated at this weekend’s Global Citizen Festival, which Campbell is co-producing.

Campbell and Mandela shared a special relationship for two decades before the global leader’s death on December 5, 2013; Campbell often referred to him as her spiritual grandfather. As megastars converge in South Africa this weekend to continue to honor his legacy by doing good works, what better time for the ever-camera-ready Campbell to add a new chapter to her own impressive legacy?
