It seems as though Azealia Banks' social media accounts are dwindling. Last year, she was banned from Twitter after making racist remarks toward singer Zayn Malik, and now, it looks as though her popular Facebook page has been deleted, also.
On Wednesday, Banks went on a tirade against Brazil and stated that Brazilians were "third-world freaks" and poor, according to XXL. After making those comments, Banks' page had tons of comments from Brazilians defending their country. And she doubled down on the insults.
“I didn’t know they had internet in the favela,” she wrote. “When are all of these third world freaks going to stop spamming my page with broken English over things they know nothing about.”
Banks took pleasure in the fact that she was garnering a lot of attention from her posts about Brazil and declared herself the "queen of the Internet."
‘I’m the queen of the Internet,” she wrote. “This stuff is all so effortless. Sheesh. How I manage to make international news from the comfort of my toilet seat is honestly beyond me. I’m not even doing anything..at all.”
Many assume that Banks' page was suspended by Facebook because of the comments, and not deactivated by her own doing. Now that her Facebook page is gone, Brazilians have taken to leaving comments on her most-recent Instagram page and including their own racist comments, such as calling her a "monkey" and a "[n—ger]."
