Bye, Kinja! It's been fun (occasionally).

I wonder how big a Go Fund Me would have to get to pay Dak to kneel next week.

Is it hilarious or sad that there’s more hand wringing over a simple protest gesture than there was after a player knocked his wife unconscious in an elevator and then dragged her down a hallway like a sack of trash?

How I would love to see the entire Cowboys roster take a knee.

Ah, the old “if we don’t see the issue, there is no issue” tactic, eh? Ya, cause that’s worked out so well in the past.

I will give people the shirt off my back...but..I will also throw lighter fluid on it & set it on fire, while they’re wearing it...if they mess w/me or anyone I care for.

I see no problems with this. None.

Was so confused for a moment, thinking to myself, “Is she a police?”

just dead.. I’m already sneaking to read this at work but seriously you made me laugh out very loud.

DEAD! Murder in the first, damnit! I am fucking Dead.

As a Taurus, from NJ, I am with you.

I still can’t for the life of me figure out why everyone’s scared of me?! I’m such a nice & docile person.....

“People don’t look at me and think ‘immigrant.’ I’m seen as black and as a woman. Automatically, those are two experiences we’re having together,” she says. “That makes the realities I face as a black woman living in this country no different.”

This article is spot on. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Back in the day Sidney Poitier was the ‘one’. For a hot minute, it was Denzel, then Will, then Jamie. As much as I like C. B. and as much as I’d want to see this movie, I just can’t. The contrast and ridiculous casting choice is too jarring.

I heard about this a few years ago, the first thing I did was call my grandmother and remind her that when she answers the phone, I always reply “Hi Grandma, it’s Zabella” and if someone ever calls claiming to be their granddaughter (I’m the only one) and doesn’t say those words, hang up! She passed away in 2016

I got a version of that phone call about my brother was in jail in Spain or somewhere and to send money when my brother was literally in my drive way getting his bags out of his car. Made for an fun conversation at dinner that evening.

When I first heard of this one, I couldn’t decide who was worse: the people who do this for money or me and my dick friends who did this as teenagers just to fuck with people. We’d call a random number and cry and tell them “Mom, I’m in jail!”

About 3 months ago, I received a call from my adopted son’s birthmom checking to see if he was OK. She had just received this scam call. Even though she thought he was probably just fine, the fear was very real and enough to call us and check.

WOW. I am here after THE Read podcast mentioning this interview and they are roasting her to death. She is the stupidest black woman ever. She voted for the KKK. What black fool votes for the person who is going to put a noose around her neck? He is not a Christian, never has been and unless he has some sort of Paul

A similar scam happened to my friend’s grandmother. Got a call saying her grandson was in jail and that they needed to wire money to get him out and keep charges from being filed. She ended up sending somewhere close to $20K before someone else helped her realize what was happening.

this is why i don’t answer the phone. If you need to get a hold of me, text or leave a voicemail. 99% of the time my phone rings i don’t recognize the number so i don’t bother answering unless a contacts name comes up..
