My mother is a retired teacher. She would always say, “Don’t leave this house and embarrass me.” We knew that meant don’t act the fool. We also knew how to act, especially with teachers. My principal was a Tuskegee Airman. Nobody messed with him because we had an incredible amount of respect for him.

As I said on a previous story on this subject, the police and now the DA are giving a lot of time and effort to review the actions of these two police officers. It looks like close to a year of review, actually. Which is one year more than the police gave to Stephon Clark before they shot him dead.

So, police officers get a full review of the idea, witnesses are interviewed, processed evidence, during a long drawn out process, all to make sure a proper and correct determination of the events and facts is completed. We don’t want to rich to judgment and ruin someone’s life, right?
