The fact that she’s called manly and judge for her body is bigoted and ignorant. It also diminishes the fact that Serena’s tennis technique is amazing, especially her service motion. Pure physical strength alone cannot account for how good she is.

Here’s the thing: everyone *should* look at Serena Williams and be blown away. She’s powerful. She’s strong. She’s the best athlete alive. She’s brilliant, kind, funny, accomplished. And stunningly beautiful. But the world cannot “let” her be all those things, because she is black.

This is wonderful news. I hope her work directly contributes to the mitigation of the long-term effects of lead in targeted communities and how to implement better public health policy without the bureaucracy.

I am a medic and Haldol is NOT an EMS medication. If someone needs to calm down we use Midazolam or Ativan. Medics are not allowed to administer Haldol. Of course this is in Florida. Maybe Maryland is different?
