Guerrero is a snake oil salesman of the highest caliber. Look Bruce Arians has long had the reputation of the cool white dude you want on your side so if he kicks your ass to the curb you done really fucked up. Still no one looks good in this matter, especially Alex Guerrero. 

This gave me flashbacks of AB’s Cryptkeeper looking feet after going sock-less in the cryo chamber.

AB does not so much burn his bridges behind him, as he sets fire to said bridge when he is still about halfway across it.
Now, that does ensure a good full burn of said bridge to ensure there is absolutely no going back ever.
