I wouldn’t say the movie was terrible. Jada’s wigs were terrible. The movie was ok.

Well shit! lol
I’d like to piggyback that people think that claiming Native American heritage based on this idea that Native Americans “are a noble people” is some sort of solemn respectful thing.
I specifically call people Latino because I always heard Hispanic was a term the government created.
The pride that a sense of heritage can give you is pretty undeniable. I myself will soon drop 3 bills on a test I’m certain will prove I am from Cameroon (completely random) after which point I will purchase a flag and claim everything I’m entitled to as a Cameroonian (dirty looks, extra police brutality, etc.). I say…
I’m just here to read her wig like everybody else. She has a long and particularly egregious history of bad wigs. I’ve long wondered if I was the only one noticing. Clearly I’m not. Ase.
Everyone in the background is thinking the same thing. *sigh*
“I was just like, ‘No. Not at all. That’s not going to work.’<< Best quote ever.
Too bad Petite Sophisticate went under. Their pants used to be the JAM.
Fur, bad and stuff.
Might I suggest you check out Banana and even Macys? Macys in particular used to have some super dope petite suits. I mean, the fit on those blazers was amazeballs.
I like that polka dot dress. But US Weekly called it an “empire” - am I confused about something? Because that looks like a straight A line dress. I’d liken that to a shirtwaist (which it ain’t) before an empire.
What if there was no ninjas, only master teachuhhhhhhs? (Holds hand to ear for response)
Damnit, you stole my line.
I’ll go with, he’d like Congressional republicans and democrats to stay together.
Eeeeyup - I’m thinking she needs to invest in some DNA testing before she starts calling anybody anything!
Yeah it’s kinda tone deaf to have a story about male rape and only include one type of victim. You’re right, it downplays how rape distorts the sexuality of victims in so many ways.
Yeah the whole “this made them gay” thing was really echoing in my head - I felt like that was absolutely where someone would go, and that it would really reduce the impact of the entire episode.
“While at no time did Iyanla allude to the idea that these men were gay because of trauma they had experienced, the topic was an acknowledgment of how perverse rape culture is and how often gay young men are targets.”
And THAT is why I never use the first piece of toilet paper! See how I did that lolol
Can’t cosign. I think he’s fine doing this. And from the pic, they look like they came in well.
