Same... I went in a different direction. Figured later on, I’d become a private pilot and actually enjoy it. It’s “later on” now and I enjoy it. I don’t think I’d remotely like being an airline pilot, particularly not the journey to get there while managing all that debt.

When I was a kid,my mom worked for TWA,and I was convinced that when I got older,I would become a pilot.

This is awesome. The flight school I taught at didn’t do introductory flights, so we never got to fly with young kids and get them turned on to flying.
