isn’t amazing how subjective music can be?

dammit. lol. blows my whole premise now doesn’t it. i assume they’ll get that shit together.

DC is home to the person without it who loves to show you they got it. We’ll be fine.

That’s not even a day party. If a party literally never stops can it be confined to day or night? lol

This might be worth digging into. Harriet Tubman might hold down two #1 slots. The most famous Harriet and the most famous (or only  known) Araminta.

I know that version, but I came to it from Immature. lol. Give Marques Houston his props!

I’m going to give it the old college try!

One point of note, and mayhaps it isn’t clear enough, this is just a specialty plate. The standard issue license plate of Mississippi doesn’t have the flag on it at all. If you’d like a plate with the state flag on it, you can get a specialty plate with the Confederate flag (for the same $30) or you can get one

I promise you, I made not one single bit of this interaction up. I’m creative, but this would be a reach even for me.

I actually like grown-ish. its appropriately ridiculous. what don’t you like about it? also, im not sure yara is above reproach. sure, we all like her, but she doesnt have the same resonance as solange so i think folks would be just fine with a fair critiquing of her.

i would have listened without Beyonce being her sister. A seat at the table put her on her own island in ways her prior albums didn’t. and i too actually like her. so i’d give her a shot off of GP. and i dont think she’s untalented. i think the bar was set so high with her last album that this one feels bad.

well i think trash would have been a stretch. i have to acknowledge that just cuz i dont love it doesnt make it trash. plus, there are songs i do love and again, i resort to Frank ocean’s blonde for helping me learn how to slow down and listen.

I just might do this on a podcast. A lot of people asked me about the selection process. I hadn’t even considered that being an interesting part of the process.
