Thank you for this, Maiysha. Such an evolution. I so look forward to anything she is in and/or produces.  What an amazing talent.  As with Ms. Viola, Ms. King leaves me speechless.  Thank goodness for these talented women.

Maiysha! I had an awful week. And this just changed everything!!!!! Can’t wait to watch!!!

Word; I’m not a fan, per se... but if it wasn’t for spiders, the world would be overrun with all the other insects they eat.

This one made my heart hurt a lot and I lost it at Ava’s post. It was such a testament of what a beautiful soul he was.

Sincere, vulnerable, kind, open, generous, talented, sensitive, humble. This was evident in every interview I’ve seen. Committed to being a catalyst for bettering the lives of our youth and portraying various Africana/Black men with empathy and humanity. You are so right; off the top of my head I can think of 6 or 7 Shakespearean roles he would knocked out of the park.

A friend who knows I am (and will always be) a huge fan of his (but really, who isn’t?) sent a me text that he passed.

Ain’t she tho?!?

I love what Wendell Pierce said about Michael Kenneth Willimas:

Any time I saw his name show up in credits for a series I knew it would be worth watching just off the strength of his performance. Truly shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Rest in power Mr. Williams.

He really was a great character actor. In star-studded assembles, he still stood out, and The Wire wasn’t even his best work.

He was a Brilliant actor. I would have loved to see him in Shakespeare and I am not talking not just Othello..........................

Hey God, you’re taking the wrong ones.

This is just devastating. I am gutted. Such a talented actor, who seemed to elicit so much good will. Rest in peace, sir.

This sucks. Such a great talent and one of the few actors that I was genuinely happy to see pop up in something I was watching.
