Seriously, I’m sorry you’re dealing with this commenter because none of what’s she throwing at you is fair, I think.

As Octavia said in her first sales pitch to the crowd: the product wasn’t just about getting healthy hair that grows and is easier to manage and style ornately, it was about reclaiming Black Women’s self-worth.
I saw half the first ep on Netflix and nope’d out.

Most lovingly, yours is a bullshit response to this article which clearly articulated why the narrative haphazardly woven together in Self Made was totally false. The writers made a biopic in which they used Madame CJ Walker’s name but changed the name, history and persona of a woman (Annie Malone) who gave Madame CJ…
Thank you for sharing, especially Martine’s Dream, as I am drooling over the clothing and making a shopping list! I have always supported Black-owned businesses, but after 2016, I stepped it up even more.
I guess traffic and smog won’t be a concern now, but I’m drawing a blank on anything other than “let grandma get some time with the baby.”
OK assholes, tell me again why it doesn’t matter that Trump goes in front of the nation and lies about cures.
So who the fuck are these doctors who’re prescribing this medication for non-proven uses rather than for people who actually need it? One can only hope at the end of all of this, action is taken against their licenses.
I know it won’t happen before then, and I hope to God a new president is elected in November, but come January, I hope the FDA, CDC, state boards, I don’t know who, comes down on these doctors prescribing this for non-lupus patients. My family’s history with doctors has shown a bell curve of competence, and the ones…
Naw. Amercia has always had a stupid that can’t be fixed. It’s how he got elected in the first place.
I hope you and all others get the medication you need. I could only skim this article-it’s that anxiety-inducing. My mother has lupus and I called my parents asap to see about ensuring she has what she needs.
Fantastic. There was another commenter on one of these sites a few days ago (maybe it was here, I think it was @crankylittlephoton) that yeah, they need hydroxychloroquine *for*lupus*ffs* and it’s on backorder.
Why did they cancel a refill? You would hope that a regular would get preferential treatment for this stuff.
Costco is also refusing returns. They started right after the the brothers with several thousand bottles or Purell were arrested for profiteering ($50 a bottle on eBay).
“So why—and how—are non-lupus patients even able to access it?”
Oh, some people are going to learn that but quick. In Fla, a regional store (Publix) posted signs in all of it’s stores on the front doors and everywhere else in the store that people who can’t use (Or sell) the massive amounts of stuff they are loading up on will not be allowed to return it and get a refund. So…
...and contagious.
It's almost like his stupidity is dangerous.
My refill was just cancelled by Walgreens despite being pending for OVER A WEEK. I have no idea what to do since it’s one of the cheaper drugs & now it looks like I’ll have to fight medicaid to put me on something else. This is such bullshit.
