Lol took you at your word due to a simple calculus of: crazy+money+undue praise+MAGA chud-ery=14 million roses sounds plausible. 1000 is a lot. TBH they could be quietly eating pizza at a small table and it would rile me. I get like that with rich folk.

I’m with you.  Kenny WHO? If my (imaginary) dude pulled some ish like this, it would be OVA.

Wonder what happened to all those lil flowers and bud vases afterwards? Note to anyone surprising me with live saxophone music in my living room, please bring me somebody like Kirk Whalum, Branford Marsalis or Ravi Coltrane. Thanks...

I agree with the guy saying the aesthetics look like a Saw movie. I don’t hate Mr. G even a little bit like a lot of folks do, but those aesthetics are creepy AF. Look, we live in the age of MAFA, so I’m extra skitish. lol

My favorite part about this is the total emptiness of the unliving room. There’s literally a point where you can tell Kim had to squat on her ankles because what, she’s just supposed to stand in the hallway for entire concert? Living rooms have couches where you can sit and relax while watching things, that’s

This is Kanye “MAGA” West we’re talking about here. Kim was probably just grateful it wasn’t Kid Rock or Ted Nugent.

so beautiful, thank you

Regina King is one of those female actors I will watch regardless of the show/movie. She always elevates the script, scene, etc. In fact, I would cast her (and Allison Janey) in everything because she’s that good. If she doesn’t win the Oscar, it’ll be a travesty of epic proportions.

I guess tears are a small price to pay to have read this piece, I felt my heart thump/race each paragraph, holding my breath for the unknown,  keeping Mac lifted in love

This is so beautiful and wonderful and heartbreaking

That is beautiful love. I’m so blessed to have this for myself. I wish this for everyone!

My husband and I met February 15 1994 twenty five years ago tomorrow. We have been married 24 years. We are still very much in love and happy. He got me 24 roses for Valentines day. We could have met on Valentines day but I did not want to put pressure on him. We talked on the phone for one week then we met.

Yeah, but (Forever) President Barack and (Eternal First Lady) Michelle Obama seem so happy together. I’ll never get them to break up and start going out with me.

All of her hairstyles in this post are great, but I especially love the Vanity Fair style. It’s so elegant.

Took me a few months to figure out why “SQUARES, SQUARES!” was being hollered at me whenever I walked down 35th to (arguably) the best Harrold’s (#88) on 35th Street.

Lovely article. I love my hometown. You forgot to add Rashid Johnson to the list of artists. Though technically from Evanston, he just directed Native Son.
