That was a good line though “self-genocide.” Had me rolling. 

I wouldn’t quite do that. Brazil is 200 million people and our brothers and sisters depend on tourism income.

It’s interesting that the iStock photo is of an Afro-Brazilian woman who was on Big Brother. The choice of this photo goes to show that Afro-Brazilian women who represent the mulatta stereotype have it even worse.

This is exactly how I felt when I found out about the story. Like how the hell did I not know this?
