Ah. Well to put it simply: I don’t believe having K-12 wholly subsidized by the federal government is a logical or desire end goal for most of the left. And it shouldn’t be. What should be within federal control/oversight is more up in the air, but generally tends to be within the realm of access—because if students

It’s that patented Trump pout.

On its face, requiring a single stall bathroom may seem pretty harmless. But there’s a couple things that happen when you do that.

I don’t claim to speak for “the American Left,” but I have worked in education as an educator and as an administrator, so this topic is pretty dear to me. That being said, a couple points you raise are confusing to say the least.

True, how else are they going to eat $15 bacon hotdogs and fit into designer clothing without a little bit of help?

I totally got where you were coming from! And you know, if they really wanted to commit to the good intentions, they def. could have done what you suggested. The fact that they didn’t says quite a bit about what the motive (or lack thereof) was here.

I feel you, but this assumes these dudes had anything on their mind beyond “pills lol cool.”
