An Atlanta area woman who learned her husband was cheating on her after an innocent phone call with an airline representative exposed his infidelity, has finally been granted a divorce.
According to the couple’s settlement agreement, Ms. Lewis will stay in the couple’s $1.3 million home, while Mr. Lewis pays the mortgage, property taxes, homeowners’ association dues and insurance. She also received nearly half of her now ex-husband’s Delta SkyMiles and all of his American Airlines Advantage Miles.
On October 29, 2022, Gail Lewis was eager to welcome her husband Harold Lewis home from what she thought was a business trip to Europe. According to a TikTok video she posted, Ms. Lewis was planning to have a special dinner waiting for her hubby. But when she called the airline to find out when his flight would arrive, she got an unexpected surprise – learning instead that her husband was actually traveling with another woman and had already landed at home.
When Lewis finally reunited with her husband, she confronted him about his female travel companion. In a TikTok video she posted on her account, she says he denied knowing who the woman was and went to bed without a second thought.
Still stunned by the news she got from the airline employee, Ms. Lewis was unable to sleep and instead went into detective mode, looking into the couple’s joint accounts, where she was shocked to see the name the airline shared as her husband’s female travel companion on several transactions. Ms. Lewis’ further research uncovered that her husband had actually been involved with over 20 different women over a five-year period.
Here, Ms. Lewis can been seen confronting an unsuspecting Harold and his mistress in the airport. The look on his face is priceless.
In one of her latest social media updates, Ms. Lewis says she is ready to move on with her life. Although she continues to find more evidence of her husband’s infidelity, including pictures of other women and evidence of accounts on online dating sites.
“Now that everything is over, I’m still finding more and more stuff.” Lewis said in a now-viral TikTok video. “But it’s interesting because it doesn’t affect me like it used to when all of this stuff first started happening to me.”
