The white ruffled shirt that Prince wore in the film Purple Rain (you know, the one he wore by the purified waters of Lake Minnetonka”) sold for $96,000 this weekend, nearly 32 times its asking price.

The Guardian reports that the New Romantic-style ivory silk shirt and a black-and-white blazer from the 1984 film sold for $96,000 each at a Profiles in History sale in California.

The blazer, which had an asking price of $6,000-$8,000, was scheduled to be sold before Prince’s sudden death in April. The signature shirt worn by Prince’s character the Kid had an asking price of $3,000-$5,000 before the auction.

Prince, 57, was found unresponsive in an elevator at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minn. An autopsy report later concluded that he died from an accidental overdose of the powerful opioid fentanyl.
