To mark her 50 years in the entertainment business, Columbia Records is releasing an album of Aretha Franklin's hits from 1960 to 1965. She also has a new single coming out — a remake of Barbra Streisand's "The Way We Were" — which she played an exclusive preview of on this weekend's The Tavis Smiley Show From PRI. It's not the full song, but Franklin gave a tantalizing taste at the end of the clip below. To hear more, go to tavissmileyradio.com.
