Angela Bassett Joins Cast of Black Panther

According to Marvel’s website, Bassett will play Ramonda, mother of T’Challa, otherwise known as Black Panther, who, of course, is played by Chadwick Boseman.

Along with Bassett and Boseman, the dynamic cast includes Lupita Nyong’o, Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba and The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira.
