Because President Donald Trump built his political career on the racist “Birther” theory claiming that former U.S. President Barack Obama was not born in the United States, Hawaii had an answer for the 45th POTUS when he touched down in Obama’s home state Friday.
Trump was greeted at the airport with signs reading “Welcome to Kenya” (a few, actually), and hundreds of other people gathered at the state Capitol holding signs with “Impeach” and “Aloha Also Means Goodbye” written on them.
Citizens of our 50th state clearly expressed their disdain for Trump during the 2016 presidential election, when all four of the state’s electoral votes went to Hillary Clinton.
Check out some more of these Trump signs, even some from middle schoolers who held placards saying, “We Shall Over-Comb!” and “Not My Cheeto!”
Wicked resistance.
