Alfonso Ribeiro said he waited 10 years for his moment to dance away with a win on Dancing With the Stars. Although his season included a painful groin injury and wearing a pink boa, his dream finally came true Tuesday night.

Tuesday night's finale included Ribeiro and his partner, Witney Carson, doing a fusion of the Argentine tango and cha-cha. When it came time for the judges to make their remarks, it wasn't hard to tell that they were extremely impressed.

"You always give to the audience what they want and have the ability to split the music like a magician," Bruno Tonioli exclaimed.

"There's a naturalness about your dancing. It's never forced," Len Goodman said.

"Your connection together was so on that you would think you had months to perform," Julianne Hough stated.

The duo, of course, ended up with a perfect score of 40.

Ribeiro, who proved that he's more than the Carlton dance and tap dancing, was in tears as the hosts announced that he was the winner.

"I cannot believe this!" he told host Tom Bergeron. "I don't even know what to say! These are happy tears!"

Carson was overwhelmed with joy as well.

"He deserves this so much," added Carson. "He's one of the most hardworking people I know."
